I Want To Be A Part Of It!Victoria BC Conductor Peter Dent and Area Choristers Invited to Perform in New York Citys Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center

Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) announced today that Victoria Conductor Peter Dent and members of four ensembles have been invited to participate in a performance of Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, Op. 9 on the DCINY Concert Series in New York City. This performance, May 27, 2013, will be held in Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, the home of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.

Established in 2004, Coro Galiano is a Community Choir on Galiano Island, BC, Canada. The purpose of the choir is to sing serious choral music at a high standard while at the same time encouraging choir members to expand their musical horizons in a friendly and supportive ensemble.

Coro Galiano rehearses weekly in the spring and fall on Friday evenings at 7:30pm in the St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church on Galiano Island.
